Dr. Marcus Young received his undergraduate degree from Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia, and a Master of Science in Neuroscience from Syracuse University. He obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry. After dental school, he completed a residency at Bronx Lebanon Hospital in New York City.
Dr. Young was raised in Syracuse, New York and developed a love of primary care and dentistry as a young man. He began as a dental assistant after graduate school and that cemented his desire to become a dentist.
He has practiced dentistry for over a decade and is dedicated to providing compassionate care and helping his patients obtain their desired smile. This approach to dentistry began in dental school. Upon graduation from dental school, Dr. Young was honored to receive the David B. Kriser Student Award for Empathy and Sensitivity in Patient Care. His dedication to providing excellent dental care extends to his volunteer work. He has volunteered his services at health clinics throughout the United States, the Caribbean, Central America, and South America.
Throughout his time in private practice, Dr. Young has attended post-graduate courses to further develop his skills and provide the highest quality care to his patients. These courses have covered oral surgery, implants, root canals, and Invisalign.
Outside of the office, Dr. Young is an avid soccer fan. He never misses an Arsenal match. He also enjoys spending time with his wife of five years and their son.
